Birthday Party Games
Birthday party games are a must-have if you have enough people and want to make sure that your celebration is fun! There are so many games you can play on the day of your celebration, so you won't have to worry about guests getting bored or running out of things to do.
These are the best birthday party games to play at your party.
1. Never Have I Ever
Sit in a circle with all of your friends and have one person start off the game by saying, "Never have I ever.." They'll say something they've never done, and if someone in the circle has done it, they'll hold up a finger.
If no one in the group holds up a person, then the person who said it has to hold one up. As soon as someone has 3 fingers up, they're out. This game can be innocent or get pretty wild depending on the crowd and what ground rules you lay out.
2. Two Truths And a Lie
Each person in the circle will say three statements: two that are true, and one that is a lie. Everyone else will guess which one is the lie until they do, and then it's the next person's turn. This game is easy and works well with people who know each other and those who don't.
3. Heads Up
Download the game "Heads Up" on your phone. One person will hold up the phone to their forehead without seeing what the word says. Everyone else will either describe or act out the word on the phone to help the person guess what the word is. After one minute, it's the next person's turn.
4. How's Yours?
This is such a fun game that everyone is going to love! Choose someone to be it and have them leave the room. Then, with the rest of the group, choose an attribute like hair, body parts, clothing, etc.
When the person comes back, they'll ask someone in the group, "How's yours?" and they'll give a one-word adjective that describes theirs (blonde, thick, soft, etc.) Keep going until the person gets it right.
5. I'm Hosting a Party
For a creative game that'll make you think, play a round of I'm Hosting a Party. Only those who bring the right item are invited to the party. Pick a secret rule in your head, like: everyone has to bring something that starts with the letter b.
You can choose the rule and then ask each person what they're bringing. If they give an answer that follows your rule, tell them "Yes, you're invited to my party." If it doesn't, tell them they can't come.
