If there's one thing I never can have enough of in the summer, it's books. I get so much more reading done in the summer because of the feel-good weather, which is why I'm constantly taking trips to the local bookshop. If you're looking to update your tbr list this summer, this post is for you.

4. Where The Crawdads Sing By Delia Owens
If you haven't read this book yet, put it on your summer tbr list right now! This is my favourite book and has been ever since I read it last year. It's such a compelling story that draws you in and tugs at your heart strings. I absolutely love this book and would recommend reading it this summer to anyone- it's a gem of a read.
5. Sometimes I Lie By Alice Feeny
This is another psychological thriller I couldn't put down. It's the perfect thriller to read and get lost in pool side. I read this book in a day while on vacation on Mexico and still can't get it out of my head.
6. Living Untethered By Michael Singer
Michael Singer is a spiritual teacher who wrote Living Untethered to guide others towards self-realization and to understand their unconditional unhappiness. If you're looking for an insightful read, this is the book for you.
7. The Paris Apartment By Lucy Foley

I couldn't leave this one out of the list. I have seen this book everywhere and it has blown up on BookTok and in book clubs.
This book is about a huntress named Feyre, a fateful decision that leads her held captive in a treacherous magical kingdom, and her captor. When Feyre's feelings for him turn from hostility to passion, her feelings burn every lie she's been told about the beautiful but dangerous magical world.
If you enjoyed Twilight, it's been said that you'll love this book. A fantasy-romance is the perfect read to get lost in this summer.
11. Reminders of Him By Colleen Hoover
Reminders of Him is a story about redemption, hope, and healing. This book has outstanding reviews on GoodReads with readers saying they couldn't put the book down and were crying ugly tears. You know a book is good when you're crying ugly tears-right!?
