There's nothing like having a well thought out routine that leaves you feeling on top of things and productive. Whenever I get into a slump, I always circle back to my routine reflect on any changes and tweaks I can make to keep myself on track.
Having a solid daily routine will not only keep you accountable, but it will also help you reach your goals and feel more put together.
Here are 10 tips to create a healthy and productive daily routine that you'll love using.

1. Set Up Your Morning Alarm
Waking up at the same time every day is essential to creating a routine that sticks. If you wake up at different times every morning, it'll be so much harder to create a routine for the rest of the day you can follow throughout the week.
Start with a wake up time you know you can commit to, and test it out for the week. You can always make changes for the following week if you need to!
2. Wake Up Earlier
If you love to sleep in, you've most likely noticed that you don't feel like your most productive self when you do. Getting up earlier in the morning gives you more time to set up for the day and get some much-needed time to yourself before the morning starts.
You'll also feel so much more productive when you see how much you can get done when you wake up earlier in the morning.
3. Introduce Daily Affirmations
If you haven't already, introduce affirmations into your daily routine. Every morning, write down an affirmation you have for the day ahead. An affirmation is an uplifting, affirming statement about yourself that sets you up for a successful day.
It's an effortless way to start the morning on a positive note that keeps you motivated and inspired.
4. Make Your Bed
This is one task you should do every morning to start your day off right. After waking up, one of the first things you should do is make your bed. Not only will this make your bedroom feel more organized, it helps you accomplish your first task of the day.

The best way to stay organized and keep on top of your daily routine is to use a daily planner. There is nothing I love more than a new planner for the year to keep me accountable and inspired for the months ahead.

Create a time window for when you plan to go to sleep every night. A time window will give you more flexibility while still keeping you on schedule.
9. Look For Inspiring Content
Social media, YouTube, and Podcasts are filled with so much inspiring and motivating content, but they can also take up a lot of valuable time. If you find yourself mindlessly scrolling social media, it's time for a online refresh.
Find podcasts that are inspire you and make you feel motivated, and do the same with your social media pages. I like to limit how much time a day I spend consuming content, and make sure I'm only looking at what makes me feel good.
10. Write Down Your Habits
To do a total habit overhaul, you'll first need to write down your habits—both good and bad. Jot down any habits you want to get rid of, and then make a list of new habits to prioritize.
You'll be able to see what areas of your routine you can work on to feed your good habits, and drop those that no longer serve you.
