How To Make The Viral TikTok Baked Oats
Making these baked oats is so, so simple! All you have to do is combine all of the ingredients into a blender (apart from the chocolate chips). Blend the ingredients and pour them into an oven-safe bowl or into a muffin pan. I used Bob's Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats.
Keep in mind that if you use a muffin pan, the baked oats portion will be smaller, so they may be done sooner than in 20 minutes. I found 10-15 minutes was perfect as I like mine a little underdone. Although you can make baked oats without an oven safe bowl, I'll be investing in a few to make the baking process easier
Once you pour the ingredients into the bowl or pan, top them off with the chocolate chips & bake them at 350F for 15-20 minutes. And that's it! They're ready to eat.
Review
So, are these baked oats worth the hype? I'd say that yes, they are mainly because they're so easy to make. If I were to change anything about them, it would be to add a bit of sweetener or vanilla. I found them to be a little bland (I used semi-sweet chocolate chips) but that's the only thing I would change! They're soft, chewy and so delicious.
What I love about these baked oats is that you can make so many variations of these! You can make baked oats with Nutella, other fruit like raspberries, white chocolate, peanut butter & so many other ingredients. They are one of the easiest & quickest treats to bake and can be refrigerated and heated up again too.
